Ingredients

  • 4 very ripe mangoes
  • 600 ml cold water
  • 40 to 60 g sugar, depending on the fruit
  • Juice of ½ lemon, optional

Method

  1. 01 Wash the mangoes, peel and remove the stone. Cut the flesh into pieces.
  2. 02 Blend with the water until smooth.
  3. 03 Taste: sweeten if needed, add lemon to brighten.
  4. 04 Strain for a smoother juice, or keep the pulp if you prefer.
  5. 05 Serve very cold, with ice.

Mango juice follows the mango season: when fruit is fully ripe, little sugar is needed. Out of season, frozen pulp remains an honest base.
